Studio Ghibli's works are best known for their unique depiction of human relationships, otherworldly creatures and world-buildings that capture the hearts of adults and children.

 

This exhibition will take you deeper into the story of how Studio Ghibli delivered their magnificent universe. Like other great works, making films at Studio Ghibli takes a lot of time and process. Not only because the stories have to be great, but also because the majority of Studio Ghibli's films are beautifully drawn and painted by hand. We will guide you through every single frame and hard work behind Studio Ghibli’s films in such great details. From sketches into animation, and from animation into reality. Exhibition tickets will be separated into 3 types:

  • Non-Regular:
  • Children (age 2 - 11)
  • Student
  • Elders (age 65+)
  • Regular
  • VIP

 

VIP ticket holders are given the benefits of all 39 days access, VIP lounge, and a free limited edition merchandise. Non-regular and regular tickets are permitted only for a one day entry in accordance with the chosen specified date. All exhibition ticket holders will have the advantage of an advanced merchandise Pre-Order through our website, and each goods are available to be obtained at the exhibition site.

 

Those who have already purchased their ticket through The World of Ghibli Jakarta’s website are required to verify their ID before entering, thus it is advised that visitor bring the identification they used for the booking process. After ID verification process is cleared, each ticket holders will be given a special exhibition bracelet with a barcode as their pass that needs to be scanned at the gate before each visitor could proceed with the exhibition.

 

Following the rules from the museum Ghibli in Mitaka, Japan some exhibit is under strict regulation of no photography allowed. Most of them are the original display brought from the museum itself. In order to fulfill the satisfaction of an engaging Ghibli realism journey The World of Ghibli Jakarta also prepared a special area that is photography friendly.
